Theresa Elliott

Founder, Elliott AI Foundry LLC. Full-stack and AI engineering.

My goal is to use AI for the greatest human good. It's the most powerful technology humankind has ever had, and I build with it thoughtfully to help people achieve their highest good and make incredible personal transformations.

Privacy and security come first in everything I build, a mindset shaped by 33 years of service in the U.S. Navy and the intelligence community.

Skills

AI Engineering

I build LLM features into production apps and run AI agents as part of my development process. My focus is on making AI reliable: predictable output, a fallback when a model fails, and clear limits on what an agent is allowed to do.

  • LLM integration, multi-model routing and failover
  • Prompt design and structured output parsing
  • Model evaluation and comparison
  • MCP (Model Context Protocol) integrations
  • Agent guardrails: spending limits, audit logging, kill switches
  • Designed and built a personal AI operating system (AIOS): persistent context, a structured knowledge base, and session memory for AI agents

Full-Stack Development

I build mobile-first web apps from the database up to the interface. I design the data model, write the server logic, and ship the front end, working with AI coding agents across every language.

  • Languages: TypeScript, JavaScript, HTML, CSS, SQL, Python, Swift (learning)
  • Progressive web apps (PWA)

Multilingual Development

AI-assisted translation and communication in any language. I build multilingual apps, including right-to-left languages, and my production app supports 50 languages.

Accessibility Engineering

I design AI as adaptive technology. My apps include voice input and read-back built on the native speech features of phones and computers, so they work for more people with no extra downloads.

DevOps and Delivery

Every change I ship goes through code review, automated tests, and a preview check before it reaches production. I release in versions and use feature flags, so any change can be rolled back or switched off quickly.

  • Git and GitHub workflows, CI/CD with automated testing
  • Workflow automation and scheduled tasks using native agent capabilities

Data and Analytics

  • SQL queries, dashboards, user behavior tracking, data cleaning and exports

Leadership

  • Technical program management, plan to launch
  • AI agent orchestration: coordinating dozens of AI agent teams
  • Contractor management

Privacy and Security First

I build with a privacy-first, security-first mindset shaped by 33 years of service in the U.S. Navy and the intelligence community. Every project starts with the question of what data it truly needs, and collects nothing more. I treat user data as something I'm trusted to protect: access is locked down at the database level, secrets never touch code, personal information is masked wherever it can be, and users can export or delete their data at any time. I review security before launch, not after something goes wrong.

How I do it

  • Data minimization: collect only what a feature needs
  • Database-level access control: Postgres row-level security, so each user sees only their own data
  • Passwordless authentication: one-time-code login with allowlist gating
  • Secrets management: keys live in encrypted vaults and environment settings, never in code or chat, and get rotated if exposed
  • PII masking: personal information masked at ingestion
  • User data rights: self-serve data export and account deletion
  • Privacy-safe audit logging: audit trails that record actions without storing personal information
  • Consent tracking: versioned Terms acceptance recorded per user
  • AI agent guardrails: spending limits, full audit logs, and kill switches
  • Abuse protection: rate limiting at the edge with Cloudflare
  • Error monitoring: Sentry alerts on failures in production
  • Security-focused code review: every change reviewed by an independent AI model and approved by me before it ships
  • Google Workspace security: two-step verification, security policy, domain and DNS management, HIPAA compliance configuration
  • Compliance publishing: privacy policy, Terms, and SMS and WhatsApp messaging policies

Hackathon Builds

  • Built in 12 hours: 7 Days to AI for Business, a bilingual English and Arabic app. Honorable Mention, AI for Business pop-up hackathon in Samin Yasar's Claude Club Skool community, October 2026.
  • Built in 7 days: GroceryBoss, a grocery price comparison and coupon-stacking app. 2nd place, Women Build AI Build-A-Thon 2026, hosted by Sabrina Ramonov.

Teaching

I've taught AI since February 2026, through live training for a paid online community and one-on-one mentoring that has helped dozens of people ship real projects and products.

Topics: AI fundamentals, prompt engineering, app development with AI, agentic AI, building an AIOS, AI for business, AI safety and privacy

I also write regularly about AI and building with AI on LinkedIn and X.
